I'm a user interface and design system designer - Eric Luciano

Eric is a user interface and design system designer who work with code and obsessed with making things beautiful and functional!

Hello! I'm Eric, a UI designer from the Philippines with a decade of experience crafting beautiful and functional digital interfaces. My expertise lies in seamlessly blending design with code, transforming concepts into reality for clients ranging from agile startups to industry leaders.

As the Principal UI Designer at PayMongo (YC 19), I lead the design of our Merchant Dashboard and PayMongo Pages, creating intuitive experiences in the fintech space. I also mentor our UI design team and previously spearheaded our design system initiative, establishing a foundation for cohesive, scalable design across our products.

My passion is finding the perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality. Whether sketching wireframes, coding prototypes, or refining design systems, I'm driven by a simple goal: to create digital experiences that users love.

Reflecting on 2022: A bullet journal summary

As the end of the year approaches, I always look forward to the chance to reflect on the past 12 months. One of my favorite ways to do this is through writing, and this year I'm going to try to incorporate my love of bullet journaling into my reflection process. Before I dive into reflecting on the year as a whole, I want to take a moment to look back on my progress with bullet journaling. It's been a hobby that I've really enjoyed and I'm excited to see how far I've come in my skills and techniques.
